Welcome to Alexander High School, where our mission is to provide a quality education for all students in a safe, supportive environment. We offer a family friendly school designed to serve our students and parents in being successful to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We are proud to announce that Alexander High School has been chosen by CollegeBoard to offer the distinguished AP Capstone Diploma program. This program has a two-course sequence: AP Seminar and AP Research and complements the rigor of AP courses and exams. We celebrate the concerted efforts of our teachers and staff, our students, parents, and community leaders for helping to make our school successful in its endeavor to provide challenging academic programs, along with a variety of extracurricular activities. We salute Miranda Combs as the Teacher of the Year for 2014-2015.
We offer a host of opportunities where all students can capture the spectrum of the high school experience. Our unique assets include courses in Information Technology, Auto-Technology, and Agriculture. It is our belief that students flourish in educational environments where they have a variety of course offerings, dual enrollment opportunities and a distinguished AP program.
