Southern Soccer Academy:

  • January 28 (k-7 Graders) for field players and goalkeepers. A fun camp.  AHS players will assist the coaches. At times it wil look like each camper has a personal coach! How cool is that?
  • June 12-15 (8-12th Graders) for field players and goalkeepers.
  • June 19-22 (K-7 Graders) for field players.

  •  June 12-15: Team Camp with Southern Soccer Academy. This camp is for returning players and upcoming 9th graders. See Coach Cuellar.

  • June 16: Alumni Game. Returning prospective varsity players who attend camp will play against AHS soccer alumni
  • Fall 2016: Do as much as possible

    • THE GAME IS THE BEST TEACHER! If you do not play in a club team during the fall, you are missing out and your player development will slow down significantly. Georgia Storm and SSA are the closest clubs.
    • If playing in a club is not feasible, but you still want to play during the fall and before the season at reasonable prices, check out the following: SSA Indoor or the Amateur Premier League
    • Run cross country. Players who run cross country in the fall are usually in better shape than the rest of their teammates. Contact Coach Railey at:
    • Register for a Weight Training Class. Based on your schedule and program of study, you may register for a single or a blocked class. See your coach for details.

  • All Year:  Improve Your Touch and Footwork. Get ready for the season by improving your touch and footwork. Just invest a few minutes daily on touch development drills. You can find many on YOUTUBE.
