I am currently working on my Doctorate of Education at Liberty University. I hope to have this degree completed by Spring 2017.

Specialist in Education, Leadership and Supervision, Lincoln Memorial University, Harrogate, TN. Spring, 2009.

Master of Education, Special Education, State University of West Georgia, Carrollton, GA. December, 1995.

Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing, Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA, June, 1985.

I have worked in the Douglas County School System for 22 years. My first position was as a paraprofessional at Bill Arp Elementary School. After completing my Master's degree and certification, I started working as an Interrelated Teacher at Winston Elementary School. I held this position for 5 years. After that I became an Educational Evalautor in the Special Education Departement and I have worked at various elementary and middle schools within the county. This is my fourth year at Alexander High School. I am so excited to be part of Alexander High School.

I have lived in Douglas County for the last 24 years. I was born in Atlanta and grew up in Fulton County. I have been married for 29 years to my wonderful husband, Rick Douds. We have one daughter, LeAndra, who is 14 years old. She is currently in the 9th grade at AHS. She loves to play the piano and the harp. We have a Bichon Frise named Valentine. I love spending time with my husband and daughter. In my spare time I like to go camping and boating.
