I am entering my 18th year of teaching and my 13th year at Alexander. I graduated from Woodbridge Senior H.S. (VA). I attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on a wrestling scholarship.  While at UTC I majored in Fine Art with a concentration in Drawing & Painting. After UTC I went on to attended Fort Valley State University and earn a BA in Graphic Design. I then worked as a graphic designer for an international corrporation, but I became disatisfied with the corporate world.  So at the suggestion of friends and family I entered the realm of education. I went on to get a Master's in Special Education from North Georgia College and State University. And I have never looked back. Besides teaching Fine Art and being in charge of the Art Club, I am the Co-Head Wrestling Coach for the ALX Wrestling Team. In addition to my ALX Wrestling coaching duties I am a coach for USA Team Georgia Cadet/Junior National Team.
I am happily married to fellow Alexander Teacher Carrie Cochran, and we have three  wonderful children, Hayes, Elizabeth, & Spencer.  Plus I am also the younger brother of Alexander Coach Sean Moistner.
