Bio

I came to AHS during the 1994-1995 school year in the capacity of a long-term substitute teacher in the English department. I was hired full-time for the next school year. Since teaching at AHS, I have coached varsity competition cheerleading, varsity volleyball, directed One-Act play, and Scholar Bowl coach (one of many). Currently, I coordinate AHS's team for the GHSA's 6A Region 5 Literary Meet (spring activity) and advise yearbook.

My husband and I have three children, who are involved in many activities. Aside from spending time with my family, my interests and hobbies include reading voraciously, watching films, baking goodies, and spending countless hours on Pinterest. Oh, and I am an avid follower of all things Disney.

E-mail (debbie.rager@douglas.k12.ga.us) is the best method of contact.

If you want to know what's going on in my classroom on a day-to-day basis, visit my classroom blog (www.outragerous.wordpress.com). I also use REMIND texting service (where I send out text reminders to my students about important school events).
