I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Middle Tennessee State University (1987).  I received my teaching certification from Georgia State University (1998).

The 2017-2018 school year will be my 22nd year teaching, all here at Alexander High School.  Prior to coming to AHS in 1996, I was a police officer for the Douglasville (GA) Police Department.

My wife, Kristi and I have been married for 31years.  Kristi is an 8th Grade teacher at Fairplay Middle School.  We have two children. Our daughter Morgan and her husband Chris live in Germany and our son, Jared is in his 3rd year at the University of West Georgia.

In addition to my teaching duties, I am also the CTAE Department Chair and on Friday Nights you'll find me at the football field in my role as the "Voice of the Cougars" for AHS Cougar varsity football games.
