Education

I received my degree from Georgia Southern University in Special Education.  I have taken graduate courses at University of West Georgia.



Experience

I have taught in Douglas since January 1995.  I have been at AHS since 2003.  I was nominated Teacher of the Year by my co-workers in the 2007-2008 school year.  I won Teacher of the Month award in April 2009.  I have worked in all four core class areas (math, english, science, and social studies).  The list below indicates the schools in which I have worked as well as the duration.

Chapel Hill Middle School-3.5 years

Chestnut Log Middle School- 4 years

Alexander High School- 16 years

 

This year, I will be my 23nd year, and I'll be teaching  British Literature, 10th Grade Literature, and Study Skills.

I am also a co-sponsor of Alexander's Skateboard Club, the AHS Riderz.  

 

 

 



Bio
