Bio

Presently the Senior Army Instructor for the JROTC program, Alexander High School since 2007.  LTC Franklin began her 20 year military career in May 1987 as an Ordnance Officer.  Followig the Ordnance Basic Course, she was assigned to the 699th Maintenance Company in Hanau, Germany.  Upon completion of her European tour, she assumed command of the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 16th Ordnance Battalion, APG.  LTC Franklin followed up with two Korean tours one of which she served as the Deputy Brigade Commander over a Brigade size element consisting of 700 personnel.  During her tenure as a Logistic Specialist assigned to the Army G4, Washington D.C., LTC Franklin led a collaborative effort with the Center of Army Lessons Learned to capture observations and insights from the Army's forward deployed forces for use in developing a capability to manage the volume of equipment returning back from Southwest Asia.
